Best thing to do is order a new screen and replace it. These things cost like €16

Be extra careful when putting the new screen in with the ribbon cable getting through the hinge. Thats the trickiest part of the repair

Oh damn, I forgot about that. There's not gonna be a mushroom cloud above Belgium after all. It's gonna be an entire chain of 'em! Anyways, I'll wrap this part of work up and then'll see if I can find one of those screens for a decent price (and if I can't find one for a decent price, it's gotta wait... Gotta juggle finances until I can get some actual figures, now that a wall in my newly-bought house turns out to have a massive, two-story crack)

I, for one, think DS screens are more important than living spaces.

Hmm, 13 bucks and gotta get it in the north of the Limburg (screw you, people from the Limburg. No matter what you say, it's the Limburg). That's doable, just gotta make time for it next weekend (not the coming one, but the one after)
