that gamemart.com site hasnt held up on their end of the deal as of yet. I would just 'unlike'/'unfollow' them as a f u, which is what I did. other than that, it is a shame to see a neat event go dumb

Guys, this is not MyGamingMart's fault, nor is it ours. We are still looking into getting you your prizes, but we can't promise anything. If it's any consolation, we'll give each of you an 'award' on your profile so you at least get something out of this unfortunate turn of events.

Well I took an R4, I mean I already have a DSTWO, so it's not like i really need it, but yeah.

The last I heard from them was around a 2 weeks ago promising again to pay their ad bill and to get the prizes sent out. I'm really sorry everything turned out the way it did but we will try to find some way to compensate those that don't get / get a delayed prize.

Well I'm glad the staff here is very disappointed in the outcome of the raffle. It's just another instance to show how things are going the wrong way in terms of honesty. If someone is promised something, they should get what they were promised. I know it's not in anyway DS-Scene's fault. And as of right now, I still have yet to receive my prize. But here's to hoping things are set right.

We actually have 0 sponsors at the moment and we are back to standing on our own 2 feet. I kinda prefer it this way anyway to be honest so maybe we will be re-thinking the whole flashcard shop sponsorship scenario in the coming future and coming up with other non-intrusive ways to fund the website and our competitions.

I will continue to chase mygamingmart once again for the prizes (I'll scrub their bill as an incentive) and update you if I hear anything.

It's not DS-Scene's fault and I'm sure that the administration will post further information when it's available - Retrohead has his head wrapped around those things and I'm sure he will inform you about any developments, until then, just chillax and enjoy the website as you normally did.

We know it's not DS-Scene's fault. We just feel a bit annoyed at MyGamingMart for taking do long.

Like, I got to the bottom of it and messaged them myself to find out what the heck's going on. I was calm and shit, and the guy flips out at me and says they're sent already and I should go get a job and buy shit from them instead of waiting so long.

So I went off on them and was like "Why should I ever give you shits any money? So you can take over 4 months to send me my shit, and then act like I'M the one who's the bad guy? Fuck you, ho. It's no wonder your site goes down every other week. No one wants to support your Hong Kong knockoff, scammy bullshit. I can only imagine how pissed off your actual paying customers are, let alone the contest winners."

Guy then deletes the wall post on the FB page and acts like nothing happened. : )
