Cave are working on a High Definition version of Espgaluda 2 for the iPad2, slated for release sometime this fall.
When i asked Cave about HD versions of their iOS shooting games, they told me it wasn't possible on the current iPad because it doesn't have enough memory, that was before the iPad 2 was announced. So it seems like the only reason the HD version wont be available for iPad 1 is because 256MB ram isn't enough. Makes me wonder how much memory this will be eating up on iPad2, you wouldn't have thought this type of game needs such a large amount of ram.
I'm not sure why, but ARIKA had really problems with their DSi game Metal Torrent. It lags on a DSi, although it uses DSi mode there.
It's one of the coolest games on earth, but it lags... It's unbelievable.
I love this game.
Wut? Where? Who? Is this on european DSi store as well? Cause 3DS has select DSiware titles and I so want to play this. Must look... nope, at least not on 3DS´s estore.
And slowdowns aren´t uncommon in bullet hell shmup. If anything it makes it easier to navigate the patterns, if input is still consistent, that is.

Yes, it's in the european store, I use it on my DSi & DSi XL. It's published by Nintendo. Nintendo published / produced 12-20 really good DSiWare games, and this is one of them. Hey, ARIKA made it. -- And ARIKA made Dr. Mario DSi, too. So you need to buy this as well. and this is good, too.

The eShop has all DSi games available, just search the name of the one you're looking for in that search thing at the bottom (or wherever it is again, I forgot and can't be bothered to look).
Also, this looks great, although it still doesn't convince me into buying an iPad. I'd much rather see this released on Android.
Might be the only good reason to buy iPad 2. Espgaluda 2 was pretty awesome when I'm trying it on my friends ipad, and xbox 360 version is great too, the only thing I need is this game to pop up on PS3.
@kes: Yeah I still don´t understand why all these games are on Xbox Live and not on PSN (Esp, Radiant Silvergun, Ikaruga etc.)
@Nate: Hell yeah, found it. Weird that you can´t find it in the normal menu, you have to look it up by the search function. Whatever, 5€ is a nice price. Now to find those damn estore pre-paid cards. Did they finally release them in Europe?
