So everyone that's got a 3ds is supposed to be getting these free games starting September , on the 11th anyone that has accessed the E-shop should of received a confirmation message telling them they are eligible to get the games ... now ive had my 3ds since day one and have visited the shop multiple times but have not recieved any message anyone else with this problem??? or is it just me
I haven't got a confirmation that i am eligible to get these games, but i did get the notification about the ambassador program, and the e-shop has a video message about it.
The site you linked to is the same on any Nintendo site Haven't got any message either but there is a text scrolling vid available on the eShop about it.
EDIT: I just the checked the eShop and the vid is gone, no surprise there though.

These free games are available to anyone who owns a Nintendo 3DS system and uses a wireless broadband Internet signal to connect to the Nintendo eShop at least once before 23:59 pm (Central European Time) on August 11th. These Nintendo 3DS systems will be automatically registered in the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador programme.
So I sent a mail asking how we in Europe will get our notification. This is what they sent.

Ik heb even een vraagje. Ik heb gehoord dat mensen uit Amerika een SpotPass bericht hebben gekregen met dat ze 3DS ambassadeur zijn en dus recht hebben op de gratis spellen. Komt er ook zoiets voor ons in Europa of hoe krijgen wij bevestiging?

If you go to Notifications (looks like a green speech bubble at the top of the home screen), there should be one about Nintendo Ambassadors somewhere in the list that pops up if you are one.
