I'm restarting the Bullshit Thread, it's the third one already, and I don't have the patience to wait for someone to unlock the first one. I have urges you see.

So, I'll start off with my very own bullcrap. As you may or may not know, I'm doing my best to help out programmers at DSGM forums while programming and learning myself. Today I met the biggest of morons yet to try DSGM out.

DS Game Maker is... for some bizzare reason, shunned among DevKit's for the DS. If you're saying that you're programming in DSGM, you're in for some unpleasant laughts on the forum, despite whether or not you're using actual C in your project or not.

People take the "Game Maker" part for granted, unaware of the fact that a consicerable ammount of Homebrew they use on a daily basis, for example the battery checker for DS, has been programmed within DSGM.

So, here comes this guy, makes a bunch of .jpg backrounds, completely unaware that the DS A) Displays backgrounds as RAW images, B) cuts them into tiles, and moans to everyone how the program failed to compile his code. It gets better. He lowers the size of his files using DITHERING, making the converter use *twice* the tiles it used before, ending up with *14* Megabytes of code. No loading sections, no nothing.

If you're into hardware, you do know that the DS has *4* Megabytes of RAM. You can only imagine the ammounts of n00b QQ that followed.

Now listen to this - the kind person chose to *draw* the text onto his backgrounds rather than use standard printf or PA_OutputText... or any strings... because "fonts look crap". You know, like "no other game in existence" outputs text.

His conclusion? "Gee, this program sucks. I payed 15$ for this?". My conclusion? "Why did you even start if you don't have the dedication or the skill to manage using a vaccum cleaner?". It's really terrible when you have to "break the ice" with someone who just isn't aware of the fact that he's screwing up badly, and it's all *his* fault. It was a guilty pleasure to tell him that a highly-compressed .jpg is not exactly what the DS likes to open... It was however saddening that said posts are still on the DSGM forum, a forum dedicated to a development GUI I find truly remarkable. It's going to "scare away" potential clients, and James deserves recognition. If there's something that made developing Homebrew for the DS an "easier" and more pleasant process, it's DSGM, and here comes this complete moron who thinks that paying 15$ will automatically mean that no effort is needed to program his shit. And trust me, there was *nothing* interesting in that code - I saw it. It was so un-optimized that my Dual-Core *choked* while compiling the code, took me a good *10* minutes to even get an error log. Pathetic.

To top it all off, I just finished a 12-hour shift and I have absolutely no energy.
