As some of you may have already noticed, there is now a new subforum in the Other Discussions forum. From now on, anything related to music, literature or films should go in here, instead of in General Off-Topic Chat.

Also, if you have an idea for a silly topic, please post it in the Testing Area from now on. If we notice that you post topics or comments in GOTC instead of in TA to increase your post count, you will receive a warning, and those posts will be deleted. I'm sure you will all refrain from doing this, but it is a warning towards new users, who may not be used to this site, or just forums in general.
Certain topics were already moved to the TA, so if you notice your EXP level has dropped, that may be the cause.

Think twice before you post, and all should be okay.

This new system feels very anti-NJRG.

It kind of is. Njrg is/was a pretty cool person overall, but her flooding of the forums with ponies wasn't the best way to show newcomers how to post. Thus, these new rules come into play.

And it also kind of is to make sure this site remains a bit more 'elite' than other sites. Like NeoGAF, which is probably the most elite gaming-related site ever to exist.

NeoGaf is just a few thousand fanboys (faggots) posting on a shitty vBulletin doing nothing more than getting boners and fapping over animated gifs

It was intended as a joke. :/ Perhaps I should've indicated that better.

It was. When I posted it, I thought of adding a :P smiley, but I didn't in the end. Oh well, who cares, anyway! (I do, otherwise I wouldn't be posting. Hmm.)

EDIT: why do I even bother continuing these endless arguments? ARGH.
