  nds themes - my theme won't open the start menu

I accidently put a theme that was only meant for the YS menu of R4 to my Wood r4 software, and the top and bottom screen are discoloured.

I tried to change the theme to another one that works by pressing the start button but the start button won't open up anything.  confused

is there a way I can change the nds theme by connecting the card to the computer or does anyone know a different way to solve the problem?

Easy. Just open your card on your computer and switch the wrong theme with a working one. Remember to allow the files to be replaced when tranferring them.

How do I switch them?? in the ui folder of the rpg folder, I just have several themes in their own folders. I know that you can switch the themes on the ds by going on the menu of Wood R4, but like i said, this method isn't working.

How can I select a particular theme folder to be the backround when i open my ds again?

Do you know exactly which theme is causing the problem? If so, that's the one that needs switching. The firmware will just read the files when you start it back up.
If you don't know which files are the problem ones, backup your games and save files, format that bitch and put the clean firmware and the games back.

If your flashcart keeps any configuration files on the SD card, then delete those...
When you boot up your flashcart it will load up default setting, meaning no custom skins...

You can also try the switching thing like Zombie says, but I'm guessing if you haven't figured out how the configuration setting work, chances are you're not smart enough to switch a few files around...

And a last resort, just like Zombie's 2nd suggestion, but sure to work, is backup your games/saves/ect, format, and move them back over, excluding the config folder of course.

Any of those 3 will do the trick.

just delete the whole firmware without the rom, and install all firmware again
that should take you back to business

I use EDGE card on my DS, i think CycloDS will be same..
Do you know where i can find that tread Clookster?

You can take all skins from here expect those made my "Team Cyclops" themselves, since "Team Edge" deactivated skins made by "Team Cyclops":

Simply erase all "Team Cyclops" logos on these skins and use them. Some are nice actually.

Edge and Cyclops are not really new carts. Most people already got their skins. Have fun!  wink
