I went with a character theme, starting with a "Crimson red" Lite and ordering pink and white shell kits for parts.






The emblem on top is a licensed enamel pin with the pin back filed flat and glued in place. The hearts... I bubbled out the plastic near the d-pad when I tightened the screw too far and wanted it covered. The only sticky hearts I found were raised plastic adhesives, which I glued in place. The pink ones were just decorative.

My attempt at "chaos emeralds" using rhinestones. These had to be removed.


My case. It's a Psyclone "premier pack" with a rubber licensed keychain and more of the hearts(the pack had 70 of them and I often feel urged to use the things I buy)



The emeralds had to go due to the tight fit of the system. It barely crams in with the hearts on the front.

The finished view of the top. The heart covers up the company logo, and the DS tag was cut off a licensed soft carry bag.



My only goal now is to obtain a silver battery cover, hopefully without getting stuck buying another shell kit for the 1 part.
