got the patched version, which i checked using hex editor it was indeed patched, but still getting black screen
r4 1.18 - no luck; so try ysmenu which usually do the trick, but failed at step4(or so it says)
now i havnt try manually patching using hex editor(the result would be the patched one thou, which is kinda stupid), nor have i tried using ysmenu with the unpatched .nds, but i doubt that it would work either way...

any help?

I'll just sit and wait for somebody to solve this protection.  I have been waiting for 14 years for this, might as well wait a little bit more...

Haven't tried it myself but checking back on the thread it was posted in it seems others are having the same problem, so the patch probably bad, or possibly only works on certain cards.

If the hex edit is bad then i doubt that TTMenu works either. KimYom normally supplies a patch here so just wait for him to post.

went somewhere else and found out that it had a 'little' progress by using wood r4, but i believe it is still unplayable...
i'll just wait for a few days, o wellz~

How to play "Super Robot Taisen OG Saga" on your DSTT and R4

For DSTT user:

1. Download Patch.rar and get a Patch.exe file from the RAR archive.

2. Drag your ROM and drop it onto the Patch.exe.

3. Copy the extinfo.dat and infolib.dat files to the TTMENU folder of your microSD in the DSTT.

For R4 user:

Implement YSMENU by using the files that was described on the above "For DSTT user". Thus, use R4-YSMENU.

That's all.  



Note:
This path is not only for "Super Robot Taisen OG Saga". It's one of game to be patched by Universal Child's Play Patch.  
The file having the ".bak" extension is the backup copy of the original nds file.

whats the latest ysmenu available for r4 user? the one i m using right now shows R4YSauto v0.0.2

any r4 user got this around and can provide some step-by-step tutorial?
