Getting lazy, Nintendo? When the original Nintendo DSi was released, none of the current DS flashcarts available then would even boot on the system. It's unconfirmed whether or not other current DSi flashcarts work on the European DSi XL systems. Oh that is ironic XD I remember before I got my DSi that the Acekard 2i was the only card marketed to work on the DSi. I got one just for that reason^^ I know there are some YouTube videos of people trying out a variety of cards on a Japanese DSI XL. Most of them worked and if the European version still works... Not that i'd get one anyway, I wait patiently for the DS2 or whatever they will call it  ::EDIT:: Oh and just for those that don't know, the US release of the DSI XL will be retailed at $189.99. Brilliant news! My Acekard is already updated so it is running on my current DSi firmware but I figured Nintendo would have done something with the firmware. Glad they didnt! |

Since they release that firmware for the dsi that blocked many flashcards, have it been anymore firmware updates? |

Im assuming that since the European version of the XL will still have firmware 1.4 that the US version will have the same firmware. I have the AceKard 2.1 with the 1.4 fix so I hope that the US release doesn't come with any updated firmware. IF it does not then I am going to order this |
