I know SOTN isnt actually a RPG, but I love that game, finished it like 3 three times and I still enjoy the game.
Suikoden II looks really good, when bored of battles you can just hit auto and wait till the fight is done xD
Right now I'm playing Glory of Heracles, it isnt that bad, i got bored of sands of destruction i just didnt like that one its just too boring (for me).
Any recommendations?
Glory of Hercules was pretty boring to me, at least by the end where you fight these enemies that take forever to die (like you actually have to pay attention in battle to make sure you overkill the right enemies). It's not a bad game, it's just very tiring after a while.
Besides auto-battle in Suikoden II, it is just naturally easier than a lot of other games. You don't have to level grind at all, the game is paced well so that you don't have to do any extra battling.
You're right about GoH, but at least i like the story a enough to keep me playing unlike sands of destruction. Did you play Mother 3? Seems like theres a lot of hype about that game.
I've played all the games on your list, with the exception of the DQ series. I would recommend Mother 3 if you liked Earthbound. It's a very interesting game, fantastic graphics (for GBA), nice music, but I don't care for the battle system. I almost got to the end, and then stopped, as I do with many RPGs because I didn't feel like putting in the final level grinding effort.
Anyway this is off topic now, more about classic RPGs than it is about DQVI haha.
