It was originally a gameshow from the early 80's. I used to watch it when I was a kid.

You play against 2 other people and answer trivia questions.
Everyone gets to pick an answer but the first person to push the buzzer, gets 3 spins if they guess correctly.
Everyone else that answers correctly gets only 1 spin.

There are 2 rounds of 3 questions each.

After each round, you start spinning. There are squares around the outside of screen with dollar amounts.
When you stop the spinner, you get the dollar amount.
But be careful, there are wammies under some of the squares.
If you get a wammie, then you lose all your money and get an X.
Get 3 X's then you lose.

You can also pass your spins to the next person and make that person use all of your remaining spins.

The person with the most money at the end wins.

So is this like that show "Whammy! Press Your Luck"? I remember watching that show 3-4 years ago.
