Yup. Didn't tell you you should hate it because of those voice actings or so. I personally hate it when people push their opinions onto me and want me to throw mine away to take theirs. The internet's already too full of assholes like that. I myself just absolutely hate voice acting in games. In that Annie Alchemist one, it's still kinda ok, because it's in original Japanese and you can turn it off. The moment it's done in English, it's a huge nono for me, even if it's only in cutscenes (Ok, if the game's good enough, I'll just turn the volume off during cutscenes, like in The World Ends With You). Most of the time, English voice acting for games is uninspired and bland, which takes away from the experience instead of adding to it. That's how I feel (or, in short:  :yucky: ). If you like them, good for you then wink

The English voice acting in the Persona games was pretty damn cool. Professor Layton too.
The PS2 Dragon Ball Z games were painful to hear, though.

/// THE UNIVERSAL CHILD'S PLAY PATCH WAS UPDATED!! ///

How to play "Summon Night X" on your DSTT and R4

1. Download Patch.rar and get a Patch.exe file from the RAR archive.

2. Drag your ROM and drop it onto the Patch.exe. That's all.

Note:
This path is not only for "Summon Night X". "Summon Night X" is one of game to be patched by Universal Child's Play Patch.

The file having the ".bak" extension is the backup copy of the original nds file.

I never understood how to do this.  I have the patch but once it's finished (When I have the .bak and the original file that I put in.) which of the 2 files goes into my R4?  I'm not very good at these things and this stuff is a first for me.

You put the original .nds file into your R4, because that's the file that gets patched. The .bak file is an unpatched backup of the original file.

You put the original .nds file into your R4, because that's the file that gets patched. The .bak file is an unpatched backup of the original file.

I tried this method with the recent Rune Factory 3 game (I think that was the one.) and placed the patched file in my R4 which then tells me that it won't work(I don't have the error down word for word).  I'll give this method a shot again right now with this game, hopefully it works this time.

EDIT: If this doesn't work again should I go to the Forums aboutt his or should I stay here to discuss the problem?

I put the game into the Patch.exe and it tells me that "the universal code" isn't found.  That's the code to fix the game no?  I don't understand the problem but will try to re-download the patch.
