p9ycoblaster has completed work on his unofficial English translation of Mistwalker's strategy RPG, Archaic Sealed Heat. Now that the translation is complete he's moved onto letting a bunch of people play test it, to check for any mistakes or inconsistency in the script. Once the final testing is finished, along with any minor adjustments that may be made, he will release a patch to the public. Thanks to p9ycoblaster it shouldn't be too long now before we can all get to play this underrated game in English.
This game was the first 2056mbit game so it was epic in size. Though it felt too slow, having to wait for those animations to finish in each tedious battle.

Yesss! I've been keeping an eye on Psyco's work for quite some time. Finally, I'll be able to enjoy ASH once it's released to the public! It's great that someone takes the time and effort to translate such a massive and underrated game. Good luck with the final stage, I'm rooting for ya!

This is very good news, but I could swear I read something awhile ago that this game was going to get an official translation, suggested by an ESRB rating... I wonder what happened with that? Oh well, a fan translation is certainly better than never getting to play it at all. I can't wait to finally try this game out!

There was a possibility according to Kotaku but there has never been an official announcement. There most likely never will be since the game did not do well in Japan.
