I see this being both useful and just raring for abuse...

Pro:
Pokemaniacs might actually exercise.

Con:
Pokemaniacs might actually find a way to avoid exercise, which will lead to FarmWalking (i.e. paying someone to walk your pokemon, as I doubt PokeWalkers would somehow sense each other).

Or taping it to a vibrating dildo.

Thanks, Antoligy.  Now I'm picturing a farm of pokewalkers attached to a variety of vibrators, discussions on what the best settings and vibrators are, and a lot more boys bothering their sisters...

There's a good chance that the pokewalker will be Japan only. Btw I don't get the nail thing it just looks like she glued little nicknacks to some fake nails.

Take a look at this new screenshot, it shows the data being sent to the DS, but wait why is the DS turned round and the Pokéwalker pointing directly at the DS card, surely this thing uses Wi-Fi to transfer data right? :hmmm:

This has got me thinking that Heart and Soul may come shipped on one of those infa-red cards like Walk with me! and you know what that means? It means this game wont run on any flash cards

Actually thinking about it, even if it does use an IR card the game may still work but it would be impossible to use a pokéwalker with flash cards

Confirmed, the card and pedometer use IR for communication so it's impossible to use a Pokéwalk with the current generation of flash cards.

rough translation of Pokéwalk specs:

Specifications
Batteries: button batteries, used a one (CR2032)
Weight: about 21g (including batteries)
Body Dimensions: Diameter: 48mm Thickness: 13.9mm (not including key top)
Supports infrared communication
With a pedometer
"Pokemon Gold Heart" and "Pokemon Silver Seoul" included with

The IR connection on the game card !
Same like "Walk with Me!", maybe is a new strategy to fight piracy ;-)
