This wipes the floor with Fifa 08. The 60 frames per second makes HUGE difference, it's a really good game.

EDIT: Just played a few games on wifi and the frame rate is about 20 fps, it's worse than fifa 08 on wifi. I would be extremely pissed if i had bought this game as one of the selling points was '60 FPS GAMEPLAY!'

:naughty:

really? It looks/plays/sounds exactly like 08. Same menus/menu sounds, loading screens, commentary, stadiums, chants, etc.

I really dont get why people bother with football games on handheld. Same shit, new box.

I assume you haven't played EA Sports games on home consoles either?

LOL?
Fifa 08 Is Much worser than this. At least, 09 is the best Fifa on DS, the Be a pro Modus is great for the DS the Wifi Games is Much better playable then 08, on Fifa 08 i had permanent maximum 6 Fps, here i have now minimum 20 FPS. I Like it much but it suxx when im beating someone on Wifi and then he turn the DS of :ras: Stupid looser

and its really much better than the PES Games for DS.

If I hadnt have a M3 Simply, i would buy it :yaylite:

This game is a LOT better than FIFA 2008. I had one problem with it on my R4, when I tried going to Manager Mode it would say "Saving Data..." and then get stuck, I'd have to hardboot the DS and then restart. Upon loading the game again it would say "Save Game Corrupt, Press A to restart.". Aside from that it's probably worth a purchase.

Btw... has anyone tried to decompile the rom?
there are some technical notes, a .bat file, some bitmap textures to replace...

one of them is:
Quote
---------------------------/-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To create/save highlights /
-------------------------/---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

* run a debug build

* put a breakpoint in game.c at the top of G_ReplayPlay where it says:
// to record replays, put a breakpoint here

* score a goal or miss

* press SELECT to replay at a good moment, the game should Break on your breakpoint before showing the replay

* Make a note of the address of G_tHighlight[0]

* Within Nitro Debugger, select File|Write

* Save As BIN with a filename of:
C:workFIFADS06DATAootmiss0.bin OR C:workFIFADS06DATAootgoal0.bin (as appropriate)

* set the Start Address of G_tHighlight e.g. 0x0220bc70, and the Length as 0x6760 (should be sizeof(THighlight))

* click OK to save

* increase the appropriate GOAL_LZ_COUNT or MISS_LZ_COUNT #define in gamesys.h (around line 21)

* check the bin files into sourcesafe

* any questions ask Charlie

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(OMG, the best part is "*any questions ask Charlie" LOL)

inside the "textures" folder (and some others)you can find bitmap textures for the sky, floor, icons, publicity...
with a .bat file:
Quote

    cd C:workndsfifa08DATAsub
    x:toolszlibtool.exe .
    sleep 2

so... they used zlibtool.

well...  there are more things inside of it, so it could be interesting to check it ;)
