SamuelV has released a new version of SvSIP the VOIP application for DS. You can take a look at the home page if you want more details about parameter files. (note) v7 has been up since Nov 26th but most sites missed it, hence the late news.

This new version uses the last versions of libnds, dswifi and pjsip libraries. They contain bug fixes, but it should not change the functionnalities of SvSIP.

Two options have been added to config.txt:
  • use-ice , activates "Interactive Connectivity Establishment"

  • nameserver , defines the server to resolve hostname.
This option can be specified multiple times.
The keys are programed like this:

I began to implement graphic mode for top screen. You can see hours and battery state.

It seems the [list] command could not be read by the XML feed, removing it (and the bullets which only seem to be bullets with that command) seems to have fixed the feed...at least it looks fixed on my side.

Sorry for just editing triforce, I wanted to take a shot myself though, feel free to fix the formatting to your liking again.

No problem, its a bit weird why a list tag messes up the xml though, oh well.

I had it wrong...it was not that...it was the bold code being detected as part of the word...sorry about that

The software is free but you need a Voip account to make any use of it. Voip services usually aren't free unless your internet service provider supplies one which they most likely don't. You maybe able to find some sort a free Voip service somewhere though. All you would need to do then is to enter the login details into SvSip on the DS to make free calls on it.

there's more information and instructions on the Homepage http://svsip.free.fr/spip.php?rubrique9
