Isnt a firmware. Is a tool that updates automatially online. This tool is awesome, can recognize all roms you put on it and apply anty piracy patchs automatically. It also have links to the posts about the game you open with it aswell as trim rom and updates your cheat database  pleased

psande, if you have one of the three systems that work right now - Wood, Akaio, DSTwo - then you don't need that.

If you have an old cart that doesn't get support anymore (M3, DSTT) or a clone, then this should help to use newer ROMs. You can find all instructions in the download package. Please have a look at the spoiler if your cart is supported.

No. If you have EZ Flash, Edge or Cyclops, I'd recommend to buy an R4 for 3 Euros. Or something similar. I'm sorry.

I don't know if there will be a fix for Kirby soon in the ROM tool.

Edit: Actually there seems to be a patch for Kirby on certain ROM sites. Have a look at 【ind-tade.patch】at your favourite Internet search engine. Good luck. Tell us if it worked, please.
