It sucks that R4iDSN gets and update and R4iGold a brand new card.

For both cards - the new R4iDSN 3DS version and the older R4iDSN Non-3DS version that is not in stores anymore.

I'm quite surprised to see this release happened before the 3DS firmware update that will be released very soon (ridge racer fix).
Maybe the team got another faked game ready to go for this next release ?

I think lots of teams have a random game header generator, otherwise they wouldn't have been able to push out updates so fast. I mean, the Acekard and SuperCard teams (and probably others, too) released updates for their cards only hours after the 3DS firmware update!

I was told that a new fix for the 3DS Ridge Racer update is already ready, yes. If this update breaks compatibiliy with our backup and homebrew devices, which we don't know.

I'm surprised to see this new fix now, too. DSi users with a R4iDSN 3D have three icons to choose from: Miami Nights, Spongebob and Chessmaster. I think they're all working with DSi 1.42.

But personally, I prefer Chessmaster. Of course.

Yes. I'm testing it. Maybe I'll write a short review about it soon.

In general: The card is cheaper than Acekard. But it's build better and it's running better. It's the best running card in my collection now. And it's only $10.

On the other hand: We don't know how long they are going to produce bypass updates for their card. But that problem applies to Supercard and Acekard as well.

SuperCard will always continue updating. They only stopped updating their slot-2 about a year ago. Now that's some real long term support.

Yeah, and Jesus will always guide my soul. At least I hope so...

We don't know what's going to happen. But these cards are not expensive. Just right now, R4iDSN is working very very good.
