Plot The story is set in 1949 and follows Japanese-American comic book artist Kevin Yamagata as he draws the popular detective series "Billy Bat". When he learns he may have unconsciously copied the character from an image he saw while serving in occupied Japan, he returns to Japan to get permission to use Billy Bat from its original creator. Upon arriving there, however, he becomes embroiled in a web of murder, cover-ups, and prophecy that all leads back to Billy Bat.

I'm reading volume 1 at the moment and it's really good so far! (As I'd expected from Urasawa-sensei.)

That looks so cool Kiekoes. Here's the Wikipedia link so it's easier to find some infos about this.
Do you read it in english or in japanese, and where do you get your mangas?
I already got the WikiPedia link (see how it says "From WikiPedia" beneath the plot on the right ). I'm currently reading the scans in English. I am still unsure if I'm going buy this series in German or in French (I'm not that good at both, but they're the only language it's available in.)
I buy my manga online most of the times (pretty much always). I buy English, German and French volumes over at ARCHONIA.com and I buy Japanese volumes over at CDJapan.

Well, to be honest, Billy Bat would probably be better if Urasawa worked alone, without Nagasaki Takashi. MONSTER was great, 20th/21st CB was great, and PLUTO was a masterpiece (OK, he "collaborated" with Tezuka with that). BB is a good series, I read about ~60 chapters but then I somehow felt that the story is getting a bit too hard to follow. It's like UraNaga doesn't even know themselves how they should continue it. Anyways, BB is over 90 chapters now and I will give it an another read after the series ends. Before that it is kinda hard to read with all those breaks.

I'll be getting a big package tomorrow with the rest of the 20th Century Boys and 21st Century Boys (I already got 7 vols.). I'm also watching the anime of MONSTER with a friend this Saturday so I have a ton of Urasawa goodness to come.
