Ok so I finally went and got a 3DS. I have an AceKard 2i currently but Nintendo was kind enough to make it unplayable on my new system. I didn't however by my new toy without knowing that there are carts that still run on it. My question today is about AceKard->DSTWO save porting. Can I keep all my saves or will I need to modify them or will they just plain not work? One last question, I saw that the DSTWO had a built-in media player but what file types can I use because .dpg was really bad with large files in my experience.
Acekards used .SAV save files last time I checked, DSTWOs also use .SAVs so there shouldn't be any problem in keeping your save data. The DSTWO's video player can play AVI and all that, although if you really want to use it, you'd best convert it to a smaller resolution beforehand (otherwise it'll take up far too much space).
