| This news is HILARIOUS. I've been wondering about that oversight for the last few months. Sitting in my room going... Isn't this a violation of due process? I'm not a law student, professional, or even novice But come on, did they really think that was going to go over well? Oh well, let the U.S. government kick itself for stupidity if the case does indeed get thrown out all together. I don't know if double jeopardy applies in this kind of case, but if it does... Well the U.S. seriously screwed themselves. I can't really think of anything else they could potentially bring to court that isn't something they already tried to nail them for.Edit: I finally got around to looking it up. It doesn't apply, unless the case is concluded and the company is found innocent. This post has been edited by bloodadept, Thu, May 31st, 2012 at 04:26 |
