Here are the official DS-Scene Community Codes that the staff and a few members are often playing in. You can catch us around 8-12pm GMT

DS-Scene: 26-4999-4828-6796
150cc Grand Prix
Items: All.

Bombs-Scene: 07-9328-0693-5321
150cc Grand Prix (Mirror)
Items: Bombs Only.

DS-Shrooms: 43-2546-1797-8444
150cc Grand Prix (Mirror)
Items: Mushrooms Only.

Feel free to join these communities, or post any communities you created yourself. To create a community, you will first need to play at least one online race/battle, though.

You can also join the 3DS wifi chat room #ds-scene-play on efnet by using our chatroom and after connecting to the regular chatroom, type: /join #ds-scene-play

Have fun!

Joined. Nice!

I haven't managed to join a single online game though until now. I can see my friend list and everything, but it gets stuck in the "searching for opponents" screen. Guess the servers are packed full tonight. Always get "a communication error has occured" or error code 006-0612, which sucks, because according to Nintendo's Error Code Page it means: "The Nintendo 3DS is unable to connect to an Access Point." But it connects to the Nintendo Network just fine. Heck, how would I've been able to join the community? Oh well, hope it's just temporary and not the game hating on my router or something.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! I did it! I found out what was causing my problem of not seeing any opponents. Turns out it's my router's firewall in conjunction with a spotty UPnP that causes the problems in MK7 but not in SSFIV. Adding the 3DS to the DMZ function of my router finally did the trick. FINALLY!!! Haha, now I'm gonna kick your ass, Nate!

Well, you'll have to wait till Friday cos I don't have wireless here - at least not the kind where you can access the internet without a VPN connection. Cool you got it working though, I'll sweep the floor with your karts.

Nice, Nate. afk for a while. Later more. I also have to unlock some more stuff sometime. Didn't get around to playing as much as I wanted last week. Metal Mario and Shy Guy sure are fast.

It's not so much Metal Mario and Shy Guy, but the golden wheels that make me fast and still have decent control over my kart. Not sure how I unlocked them, though.

Nice match, had a lot of fun.

"The Gold wheels are parts that need to be unlocked by obtaining a minimum of one star ranking in all cups of every engine class." wiki entry. Alright, so I know what to do. lol
