  Help wtih AR cards and nintendogs - can't get capture AR cards

Before you enter the obedience Trials it asks you to capture your AR card. I am unsure of how to do this. Can someone please explain to me how to capture the AR card so that I can continue the obedience trial.

You just need to place the AR card so the 3DS's outer cameras can see it, then take a picture of it or something. That's all. :P

Well, nintendogs aren't real. And because of this fact, they cannot use AR cards. Your best bet is to get a tangible dog and teach him how to use it.
