As in the title, a new DOS emulator was created specifically for the DSTWO. It's based on the DSx86 and created by the same programmer. Downloadable HERE.

Still in the works, but worth the attention. Since it's going to utilize the DSTWO's built-in CPU, it will surely rise the bar of what will and won't run on our handhelds.

Happy to announce, Foxi.

the us slc utah
i cant say anything about it i have not got to play with one yet i have heard its has some games it does not play right but i like the fact it has a cpu for movies/gba/dos now and who know whats it will do in the future

and m3i zero i like and never had a rom that never played other than the the one humebrew romi talked about but M3Sakura i will say hands down the best ui its very nice

and if had go out and buy a card today i would pick
1. m3i zero (i have had for years (ds real before its the same card just not dsi))
2. dstwo (have not played with but like the cpu i wish m3 had that)
3. Acekard2i (only played with it for about 3hours nothing wowed me at all)
4. any card that is dsi and out
5. if i could not get any card but a r4 i guess i would run it

and as much as i like m3 cyclopsdsi if it does what it says it will

it will be my number one pick when its out

thats all i was saying

if you're really from the mormon state of the US,
then why does your english suck so bad???

are you an immigrant? a retard (no offense)?
or do you just think that grammar and spelling are for dweebs?

look, i'm not looking to start shit with you or anything,
i'm genuinely wondering, that's all....

i see, thanks for clearing that up.
personally, i love language - especially english,
so - apart from bothering with correct capitalization-
i try to treat it with as much respect as i can.
it's the best thing humans ever invented, so i try not to butcher it,
but i guess for some people it's enough to just get their point across somehow.

on-topic: what exactly is the point of dos emulation on the DS?
running norton commander and windows 3.11 on it? why?
geek-squad, explain please!!

Quake I and II DS are downloadable HERE. To play Quake II, you'll need a DS Lite/Phat plus a memory expansion module.

DSDoom is downloadable HERE. The port is compatible with Doom I and II .WAD's, so you can play both. I wouldn't be suprised if other .WAD's worked aswell.

HERE you can find a Compatibility List for the STANDARD edition of DSx86, which works on all flash cards.

"Quarantine" is a bit much to ask, but it just might work. You're in the clear with system requirements, but 3D games tend to be "quirky".

QuickBasic 4.5 Works.

Have more faith in the DS ;) It's a slow machine, but it does the job.

To get a basic idea of whether a game will work or not, compare the minimum requirements to what the emulator allows - in this case, the emulator gives you 4MB's RAM and an emulated 80286 processor (or 80386 without protection mode).
