Do you have a Wireless 802.11 B/G Router?

I don't know if DS uses 802.11 B or G, but I think its only one of those.

You will have to set your router to either 64-bit or 128-bit WEP. This isn't as secure as WPA, but is still secure and will keep out pretty much everyone but the most dedicated of hackers. But if you feel paranoid about l33thackerz crackin into yo mainframes and databases, I would suggest you enable MAC address filter and maybe hiding the SSID (this will make it harder to add new things to your network later on, but still super super basic stuff)

I think he's too dumb to know anything about security and so on

for easy use just turn off the security... and turn on the security when you finished playing
or just buy Nintendo Wi-Fi dongle or something...

@MaoKurono

I understand if you don't like Njrg... but she was legitimately trying to help this guy. So chill.

@Ome_xReverse

If you tell me what kind of router you have, I could make a guide for you on how to set up your wireless so that you can connect to it with your DS. For instance, I have a Netgear WNDR3300.

*cough* post #69 *cough*

oh I'm sorry if I offended you.
But if you really can't understand Njrg post first about WEP, SSID, and Default Gateway how even can you play Wi-Fi?
plus let me guess that your wireless internet is actually just wireless modem without Wi-Fi.
Well... you need at least buy a Wi-Fi dongle for that.

I think you mean WEP.
If your network is already up and running, start a game that has wifi connection like Pokemans and go to the WFC settings. Tap the new settings thing and let it look for a network.
If you have a WEP key, you type it there. If you use WPA, tough shit. It won't work.

Stay classy, Kesadisan.
