A full English translation patch for Blood of Bahamut has been released! There are still some bugs remaining that will supposedly be fixed in v1.1, but you don't need to wait for that version because this one is already perfectly playable.
Patch Instructions
After downloading the patch above, extract and place the following four files into a folder: --> the ROM "b-bahamut.nds" (it may be called something else, but the CRC must be F3A9C1CD) --> bobpatch_ver1.patch --> xDelta GUI.exe --> xdelta.exe
Click "Apply Patch" and "b-bahamut_patched.nds" will appear in the same folder (you will NOT get a confirmation message).

Known Issues
Text appears on-screen at a constant letter-by-letter rate during some story segments but depending on length of the text on the page, will start displaying faster near the end.
The ending of the main story is supposed to have 3 pages; only displays the first. (A single page workaround is in place)
A handful of Ability names appear fine in the menu yet the first top left region of the first one or two letters is cut out for some strange reason. "Miasma", "Cold Cloak", "Flaming Spirit", "Lightning Cloak" and "Thunder Sigil" are the guilty ones.
Due to name length limitations in-game, some character names have been shortened as a compromise. If you have never played the Japanese version anyway, maybe this isn't so important.
The Gateway (after a private beta last week) have released their 2.3b3 firmware. This firmware brings support for emuNAND 8.x, and now the card can support the games and applications running on the 7.x encryption and above. However, please take note, some games using features only available on the 7.x system menu can only be ran via emuNAND, as firmware spoofing no longer works for these. We'll make a complete list of these soon.
Until the next update, enjoy!
Public Beta release of GW 2.3b3
Early this week we released our latest Gateway OMEGA 2.3b firmware to our beta testers. We have received a lot of positive feedback from our beta testers and we would like to thank them for taking the time to test the latest update.
Our beta testers have mentioned a few minor issues: * The Gameboy Advance virtual console games and DSiWare are not working yet. We acknowledge this and we will try to get it working after the next firmware release.
* Emunand 8.x boots up slower. We have observed this too for some brands of SD cards. We suggest our users to try a different brand or a faster SD card.
Other than that no major issues have been observed so far, so we decided it’s time for a public release!
Update: the release of the homebrew loader will be delayed due to the soon to be released new 3DS (which is actually pretty cool, as it's kind of what the DSi was to the DS, with upgraded hardware, better design, etc). Hopefully the exploit will work on that 3DS as well so the homebrew loader can be released asap!
